Active Life Centers
LifeSpan, Inc. currently operates 6 Active Centers throughout Southwestern Allegheny County. The Centers are as unique as the individuals who visit them. Centers are open Monday through Friday, but hours vary. It is always best to phone ahead or check Center calendars online for specific hours of operation. The Centers are vibrant and alive offering a diverse menu of activities and the normal daily schedules including a congregate meal, transportation registration, information and assistance, casino trips, Wii bowling, bridge clubs, book clubs, fitness/wellness instruction, and art groups.

In 2024, we partnered with Samaritan’s Feet for an event at our Chartiers Center. Hundreds of our center participants and their friends received new sneakers, socks, and gift bags. We hope to work with them again in 2025.
Samaritan’s Feet Seniors is thrilled to unveil our annual fundraising campaign for the Samaritan’s Feet Senior Program, which will run throughout March and April. Our Adopt a Senior event is designed to raise funds to provide shoes for older Americans nationwide. This effort ties into Older Americans Month in May, allowing us to honor and support seniors during that time and beyond.
